Here’s everything you need to know ahead of the trip to Newcastle Thunder for the Preliminary Final on Saturday 26 September (5pm KO).

Tickets

Supporters are encouraged to purchase their tickets in advance. If you do want to purchase tickets on the day, the club accepts cash and card payments.

Newcastle Thunder operates digital ticketing, with tickets available via mobile devices through the club's ticketing system. Print-at-home tickets are also available for supporters who prefer to bring a physical copy.

Under 16s:

Under 16s can attend Newcastle Thunder's 2026 home fixtures free of charge when accompanied by a paying adult. No junior ticket is required.

Concessions:

Concession tickets are available for supporters aged 65+ and students with valid student identification.

Parking

Parking at Blaydon RUFC is free. It is available on a first come, first served basis, so supporters wishing to park are advised to arrive early.

Entry to the ground is via the main entrance, with stewards on hand to direct supporters to the appropriate parking areas.

A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available within the car park for Blue Badge holders, with additional pitchside parking available for supporters who require it.

Please follow the instructions of stewards when arriving at the ground.

The following services provide routes to the stadium:

49 - Gateshead Interchange

X45 - Newcastle Central Station / Metrocentre

49 / 69 - Blaydon Station

These services operate regularly and provide a convenient way to reach Crow Trees.

Metro:

Supporters travelling by Metro should travel to Newcastle Central or Gateshead Interchange, before connecting with the relevant bus service to the ground.

Train:

The nearest railway station is Blaydon.

From Blaydon Station, Crow Trees is approximately a 30-minute walk, or supporters can take a short bus journey to the ground.

Newcastle Central Station is the nearest mainline station, with bus connections available from the city centre.

Stadium facilities

The stadium features a 350-seat stand, alongside additional standing areas pitchside.

A marquee will be up and free to access for all supporters, alongside a bar.

There is also a catering van pitchside serving food such as burgers, hot dogs and chips.
